Ouverte depuis 1983 et tenue en famille par une mère et sa fille, La Tertulia ressemble à une petite oasis posée le long du Prinsengracht. Des plantes partout, de la lumière, une terrasse au bord du canal et cette étrange impression d'être entrée dans une cantine poétique où l'on aurait remplacé le plat du jour par de la weed. Ne demandez pas pourquoi « cantine poétique » est la première chose qui me vient en tête quand je pense à La Tertulia, mais ce lieu propose quelque chose de calme, réconfortant et simple.

☕ About the coffeeshop

Open since 1983 and run as a family business by a mother and daughter, La Tertulia feels like a little oasis along the Prinsengracht. Plants everywhere, plenty of light, a terrace by the canal and this strange feeling that you've stepped into some kind of poetic canteen where the dish of the day has been replaced by weed. Don't ask why “poetic canteen” is the first thing that comes to mind whenever I think about La Tertulia, but there's something calm, comforting and simple about this place.
