Alors que la pluie frappa comme un bord de mer, j’avais trouvé abris dans un vieux café d’Amsterdam. Le genre de lieu où la pluie résonne contre les vitres. Dehors, les passants s’étaient éclipsés comme moi pour éviter l’averse. Alors que la rue était soudainement vidée de son brouhaha, un vieil homme avançant tranquillement, son parapluie bleu à petits nuages contrastant avec le gris sombre qui s'était installée.

Cette image simple, presque silencieuse, m’est restée. Happy Rain Man en est le souvenir.
